HOVERCRAFT
ADVENTURE
A totally unique and
exciting way to experience the natural
ecosystem of Puerto Vallarta! Like
Luke Skywalker in his land speeder, you'll
float across land, down rivers, over mud
flats, and through estuaries on this
specialized hover tour.
We'll begin the tour with
a short nature hike through the mangroves
north of Puerto Vallarta, where you will
learn about the fragile ecology of the
mangroves and how this environment supports
life in Banderas Bay. We will find
ourselves at a traditional Mexican fishing
village, where you will learn how the local
people make their living, and you will even
learn and try your hand at net fishing like
the native villagers have done for
centuries.
Now we enter the exciting
final stage of the tour, as we embark on a
hovercraft expedition down the Ameca River,
where we'll view stunning flocks of birds
flying along with the hovercraft, making for
a thrilling scene. We'll also keep an
eye out for local wildlife such as iguanas,
crocodiles, and turtles as we skim 9 inches
above the land and water alike on a cushion
of air, there is nowhere these babies can't
go! Riding a hovercraft is a totally
unique feeling, it's not like a boat or an
ATV, and it can zip, spin, turn on a dime,
and speed at up to 45 mph. It never
touches the ground, very cool!
After the tour, you can
stay and relax on the beach, swim, or eat at
one of the great palapa restaurants and bars
nearby to complete your day in paradise!

Runs: Three times daily, Monday
through Saturday, at 9:30 AM, 12:00 PM, and
3:00 PM.
Duration: Approximately 2 Hours
Includes: English Speaking
Naturalist Guide, All Safety Equipment,
Instruction, Drinks, and Snacks.

- Swimsuit and Towel (if you want to
swim)
- Good walking shoes
- Extra money for food or drinks at
the restaurants (if you wish).
Departs From: Eduardo's Restaurant
on the beach in Boca de Tomates, about 20
minutes by taxi from the cruise pier or
about 30 minutes from downtown Puerto
Vallarta. We can show you which bus to take
on the way back if you like (safe and very
cheap) or you can take a taxi back.
Kids: Ages 5 and up.
Kids prices apply to ages 5-11 years.
Note: Expect some wind, sand and
spray at times on this tour, as the
hovercraft generates wind - it's all part of
the fun!
