Our Sierra Madre Hike begins in a beautiful ranch deep in the mountains of the Occidental Sierra Madre. We will trek into the hills surrounding Puerto Vallarta, where subtropical jungles drape the beautiful hillsides. Along the trail your guide will stop to tell you about the extensive flora and fauna unique to this region, as is a variety of orchids and majestic trees such as Coapinole and Parota.

The trail leads us to 2 vista points offering spectacular views that most tourists will never see. Admire the countless species of parrots and macaws in their natural habitat, and take a break in the oasis offered by the Cuale River where you will have the opportunity to swim and cool off.

Finally, we go back to the ranch where you will be treated to some guacamole and chips, and you will have an opportunity to purchase some of the unique tequila varieties you will be sampling at the end of the tour.

Cruise Passengers:  Yes!  This tour is available to you as a shore excursion. 

Runs:  Twice Daily at 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM. 

Duration:  Approximately 4 Hours, including transportation.

Observers:  If you want to have Observers or transportation there is a cost of $10.00 payable in cash the day of the tour. Write down how many people on the Special Instructions section when booking.

Restrictions: Not recommended for people with asthma or heart problems, pregnant women and physically challenged individuals cannot participate in this tour. This is an active tour, suitable only for guests in good physical condition.
