This tour will take you far outside the
tourist areas of Puerto Vallarta and to a
beautiful highland area filled with
staggering vistas and traditional Mexican
culture. If you've been to Puerto
Vallarta before, you may want to see what
life outside the bustling downtown is like,
and this a great way to do it!
We drive through the breathtaking Sierra
Madre with all its scenic views all the way
to San Sebastian, the town that holds the
history of all the neighboring communities
together. You'll see the traditional
way of creating great tasting coffee at the
local coffee plantation, learn the history
of San Sebastian at the Dona Conchita Museum
and take a stroll through the main plaza,
soaking up the atmosphere of this village.
We will stop at a local church and then
visit the former silver mecca of Hacienda
Jalisco, once a favorite hideaway of
legendary director John Huston and his
famous friends Richard Burton and Elizabeth
Taylor. A visit to San Sebastian feels
so far away from Puerto Vallarta, a really
nice break and a great way to visit!
