ZODIAC WHALE WATCH
Join the team of professional oceanographers
at
Open Air Expeditions for an experience you'll never forget. Aboard a custom zodiac,
designed by the legendary Jacques Cousteau for the sole purpose
of whale watching and used by National Geographic researchers, you'll
have the best opportunity to see the humpback whales of Puerto Vallarta
up close.
Open Air Expeditions been running these zodiac whale watching
trips in Puerto Vallarta since 1994, and all our boats are fully
licensed for whale watching. Our zodiacs seat up to 12 passengers,
and proceeds from the tour benefit the Humpback Whale Research Program
at the Whale Watching center.
Snacks and beverages are provided with your tour,
as you race out to sea to witness one of nature's most spectacular
events - the calving and breaching of the humpbacks. Our enthusiastic
and professional staff will use hydrophones to listen to the humpback's
famous songs, and GPS to track the whales migration patterns.

Runs: Twice daily at 8:30 AM and 1:30 PM from December
15th through March 24th only.
Duration: 4 hours
Includes: Snacks, Beverages, Certificate showing participation
in our whale research program, informative brochure about the behavior
of the humpbacks.
