HIDDEN MEXICO BY JEEP
Drive your own 4-passenger Jeep (or let
your guide drive you) high up into the legendary Sierra Madre.
Admire the breathtaking views of Puerto Vallarta and Banderas
Bay far below, as you trek through dirt roads, off-the-map
paths, river beds, and subtropical jungle.
You'll visit a small pueblo, where life
continues as it has for generations, enjoy handmade tortillas,
and visit a ranchero and a school, before heading into the
orchid-draped jungle, where your guide will embrace the local
flora and fauna. You'll now arrive at another small
village, where possums and wild boars live as members of the
community.
Enjoy a real Mexican lunch at Rancho Palma
Real, before visiting the town of Las Palmas. Here you
can witness a true Mexican nuclear family, three generations
living together in harmony, and feel like a part of the pueblo
as they invite you into their lives. You'll explore
plantations and learn to make cheese. A fascinating
insight into what Mexican life is like outside of the tourist
zone of Puerto Vallarta!
