DUNE BUGGY ADVENTURE
Drive your own dune buggy
through the backroads and river beds of rural
Jalisco. These babies were made for fun.
You will get VERY wet and/or dirty on this tour.
Goggles and Bandanas are provided for dust protection.
The tour heads up the
cobblestone streets of downtown Puerto
Vallarta into the surrounding hills, passing
through small rural towns, farmland, and
isolated dirt roads on its way to Piruli
Ranch, where panoramic
views greet us as we begin our adventure.
We'll visit the small Mexican village of
Ixtapa, where you will have a rest and a
chance to see the church and town plaza,
then drive our buggies across streams and
through river beds en route to an area known
as the sandy grounds.
Then it's back on the buggies
to race back to town, stopping along the way
at La Hacienda de Dona Engracia, where we'll
have the opportunity to observe the traditional
making of tequila, as well as delicious homemade
Mexican food (optional). Photos of you
on your tour will be available for purchase
after the tour.
Runs: Twice Daily, 9:00AM and 2:00PM

You'll Need:
- Sunblock, Hat and Sunglasses
- Camera - We highly recommend a waterproof
camera. Look at the photos and you'll
see why!
- Tennis Shoes
- Old Clothes (not new) - You will get
dirty!
- Credit Card for Damage Deposit
- Valid Driver's License
Departs From: Tour offices
in Puerto Vallarta. Directions will be
provided with your confirmation.
Kids: Drivers must be 16 years
old and have a valid drivers license.
Shared riders are ages 5 and up. Kids are the
same price as adults.
Notes: Each Buggy can hold up to 2
people. All Dune Buggies in Puerto Vallarta
are manual shift. Drivers must be able
to competently operate a manual stick shift,
and be comfortable with a disc brake system
which requires you to pump the brakes
several times for the vehicle to come to a
complete stop. Due to it's downtown
departure location, this tour involves some
city driving. Depending on weather
conditions, the tour route may change or
have minor variations.

Due to
ongoing development in Puerto
Vallarta and safety concerns, we
have made the difficult decision to
drop the dune buggies from our
offerings until changes can be made
to the tour. Unfortunately,
there is just nowhere safe and fun
left to drive these buggies anymore,
and the quality of this tour has
suffered. We hope to be able
to offer them again next year in a
new environment with improved safety
and scenery. In the meantime,
we encourage off-road riders to
consider one of our very fun
ATV Tours.
The ATV Tours continue to get good
reviews. We're sorry for this
inconvenience but the safety and
satisfaction of our customers is our
