OUR ADVICE:
Colomitos
snorkeling is a
great idea for cruise passengers, since
you can set your own start time -
especially if you have several people in
your group so the cost is minimal.
Keep in
mind that if you have divers, you'll
have to take a taxi about 20 minutes
south of town to Mismaloya, whereas if
you're just snorkelers, you can depart
from Los Muertos Pier, quite a bit
closer.

Looking for a fun few
hours of snorkeling and relaxing on a remote
beach, but not really into group tours?
Our private snorkeling tour to the sheltered
cove of Colomitos might be perfect for you.
You get all the personal attention of your
friendly guides, flexibility to work your
own schedule, and you'll be taken care of
all day as you enjoy snorkeling and
sunbathing.
On our way to Playa
Colomitos, we'll stop by the famous Los
Arcos protected marine preserve, where your
guide will share with you it's ecology,
history, and show you it's many rare
seabirds, such as pelicans, cormorants, and
blue footed boobies, while you have
excellent photo opportunities. We'll
pass by the mansions along the water, and
the small community of Boca de Tomatlan,
arriving at Colomitos. Here you can
enjoy snorkeling, scuba diving, and swimming
in it's protected waters, before relaxing on
the small but beautiful beach. If you
don't want to snorkel, you can just
sunbathe.
Your guide will accompany
you in the water, showing you the underwater
world, and describe to you the areas of
Puerto Vallarta that you are seeing,
including this area that is only accessible
by boat. No public snorkeling tours go
to this cove, so you'll be far removed from
the big snorkeling groups, just relaxing in
your own little slice of heaven.

Scuba Diving. Non-certified divers

Kids: All ages welcome. Kids
must be at least 10 years old to scuba dive.
Must be at least 16 years old to dive over
20 feet deep. If a wetsuit is desired,
please write age and height of each child in
the special instructions box when booking so
we can be sure to bring the right size.
Departs From: Los Muertos Pier in
Puerto Vallarta's Romantic Zone or The Beach at Hotel La
Jolla de Mismaloya on Puerto Vallarta's South
Side. If you have divers in your
group, you will need to meet in Mismaloya.
Note: As this is a private
tour, the price is total cost, not per person,
for up to 10 people. Same price no matter
how many people, up to 10.
