VALLARTA GAY ATV DAY TRIP
Join us as we embark on a quest for the endless strands of virgin Pacific sand known as Mayto Beach! This tour is an ATV expedition through the beautiful mountains and small fishing villages to the ocean, as we immerse ourselves in the local Mexican culture and laid-back rural environment.
THIS TOUR IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE Ride through the varied scenery of rural Puerto Vallarta, filled with agave fields, banana plantations, and local ranches, all set in a backdrop of the jungle-draped mountainsides of the Sierra Madre. We'll make a rest stop at the tiny village of Llano Grande, with only its 2 small stores and a miniature hospital, where we'll stretch our legs and cool off with a beer in a shaded sitting area. As we arrive at beautiful Mayto Beach, we see local families relaxing in hammocks, enjoying the seaside lifestyle, and kids swimming, surfing and playing in the waves. We'll visit the University of Guadalajara sea turtle research area, where the local researchers will show us sea turtle nests (in season), and even help them release the baby sea turtles into the sea. An amazing experience! We're also welcome to enjoy the trampoline, swimming pool, and beach volleyball as we relax in the sunshine. We'll follow back roads to the fishing village of Tehuamixtle where we'll enjoy seafood fresh from the sea as we enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. While you wait for your food, we'll even show you to a hidden cove where you can spend some time if you like. This is a true cultural experience, where you can experience the "real" Mexico. A great tour in a truly gay-friendly environment. Let's hit the road! Cruise Passengers: This tour makes a great shore excursion if your ship's schedule allows.
