This is a PRIVATE tour with a PRIVATE tour guide. Only you and your group will be on the tour or in the vehicle - no other guests. This tour invites you to a peaceful country lifestyle and a great chance to bond with your loved ones while soaking up the essence of rural Jalisco. Well outside th tourist areas of Puerto Vallarta you'll find the old traditional lumber town of El Tuito. The pueblo has remained untouched by modern civilization, and time seems to have stood still here. TOUR IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE On this enriching private tour, we will visit some local Mexican families, including one that makes bread and cookies and one that makes cheese in the traditional way. If you're lucky while we're strolling around we may see how chicharron is made on the street or charros making their way to the town square. You'll have time to stroll around on your own, poking your head into local businesses or have lunch if you like (not included). We will also see the petroglyphs that go back in time hundreds of years and eat lunch at a traditional restaurant. A personal and truly unforgettable experience. Cruise Passengers: Yes! This excursion is available to you and will work with most cruise schedules. Runs: Daily at 9:00 AM, except for cruise passengers, where start time is 1 hour after your ship arrival time.
